My name is Kyle Grover and I was raised in a military family, which gave me the benefit of being able to see much of the world as I grew up. I was born in Agana Heights, Guam which was the first Air Force base my father was stationed at. I spent the rest of my childhood cris-crossing the United States, from the Dakotas, down to Texas, and all the way out west to Sacramento, California. The beginning of high school saw me back overseas in Japan until my senior year, when I moved to my parents’ home state of Maine. After one year in Topsham, Maine, I moved to Vermont to pursue a career in Broadcast Journalism. I feel like all these years of moving around the world stoked my curiosity and made me want to know more. Journalism feels like the perfect career for enabling me to see and learn everything I can about our world and the many different kinds of people in it.
